Led by legendary Placer football coaches Bill Miller and Tom Johnson, the 1977 Hillmen captured the school’s first state championship, going.  Lead by a stifling defense and a strong offense,  the boys went undefeated (11-0), also winning Sierra Foothill League and section titles. Today we take a look back at that special group and some of the players who contributed to its success.
