Hillmen Kickoff Dinner August 22nd @6pm

Come on out and bring your friends and family to the stadium for the Hillmen Kickoff Dinner with a night of food, fun, and football Friday August 22nd at 6pm in the stadium!  There will be a BBQ dinner, silent auction, a pie eating contest for the players, and a Tug of War with coaches and players! Silent auction items available to bid on include the “Super Fan Pak” with preferred parking, admission to home games, and preferred seating. Dave Rosenthal will emcee the entire event.

Hillmen Deep, Talented at WR in ’14

Heading into the 2014 season,  the Placer Hillmen offensive attack features a deep, talented receiving corps. Led By Frankie O’Neal, Ryan Huston, Zack Madrigal, Dom Perez, and Anthony Pierce, Placer is poised for a big year through the air. These young men were elected by the coaches as voice for the players.  They provide feedback to the coaches about how the players are doing. They mentor younger players and strive to be positive role models.

Flashback FRIDAY: A LOOK BACK AT 1977

Led by legendary Placer football coaches Bill Miller and Tom Johnson, the 1977 Hillmen captured the school’s first state championship, going.  Lead by a stifling defense and a strong offense,  the boys went undefeated (11-0), also winning Sierra Foothill League and section titles. Today we take a look back at that special group and some of the players who contributed to its success. Football Program Meeting August 11th

The annual football program meeting  for all three levels (Frosh, JV, Varsity) will be held Monday August 11th, at 4pm at Lefebvre Stadium.  Coach Montoya will be introducing the coaches, discussing the expectations of those in the program both on and off the field, and announcing the 2014 Varsity Senior Cabinet members.  Attendance for ALL players is mandatory.

 

Stuff The Helmet Fundraiser Saturday August 9th

 

Show your support for the Placer High football program Saturday August 9th at 10am in front of the Bel Air and Save Mart supermarkets for the Stuff the Helmet fundraiser.  Come out and meet this year’s players, coaches, and boosters, and help the boys fill those helmets! All proceeds go towards will go toward the booster organization’s general football expenses.  Looking forward to seeing you there!
